Do you walk dogs on a recurring weekday schedule?

Yes, most clients book a set weekday slot, like a midday 30-minute walk Monday through Friday. Recurring clients get first pick of time slots.

Are walks one-on-one or in a group?

One-on-one, unless the dogs live in the same household. Reactive and anxious dogs are always walked solo on quiet routes.

Do you walk dogs in the rain?

Yes. Rainy-day walks are usually shorter, with towel-off time and indoor play or training to make up the difference. In extreme heat I move walks to early morning or evening and stick to shaded routes like the Lower Arroyo.

How do you get into my home: do you need a key?

Whatever works for you: a key handed over at the meet & greet, a lockbox, or a smart-lock code you can rotate. We agree on the exact method before the first walk, and I confirm lock-up after every visit.

Can you walk a leash-reactive or anxious dog?

Yes. Reactive and anxious dogs are always walked alone, on quiet low-traffic routes, at times of day with fewer dogs out. We go over triggers and handling at the free meet and greet.

A 30-minute check-in includes fresh water, feeding if needed, a potty break or litter cleaning, brief playtime, medications if required, and photo updates. 60-minute visits include extended playtime.

I'll walk your pet at their pace, then use the remaining time for play, cuddles, or training reinforcement.

How much does dog boarding cost in Pasadena?

Boarding at Jessica's Pawwsitive Care starts at $80 a night. Your dog stays in Jessica's Pasadena home rather than a kennel, with walks, feeding, medication if needed and a daily photo update included. Extra dogs are +$10 a night and major holidays are +$10.

Boarding starts at $80 a night and suits sociable, adaptable dogs. Overnight sitting is $100 a night from approximately 8 PM to 8 AM and is better for anxious dogs, seniors, and multi-pet households that should remain at home.

How far in advance should I book?

A few days' notice works for most walks and check-ins. Boarding and overnight stays need more notice since only one household is taken at a time, and holiday dates book up early. Same-day requests are worth sending; I'll tell you quickly whether it's possible.
