Dog Walker in La Cañada Flintridge, CA

La Cañada Flintridge means big lots, quiet streets, and quick access to the foothills, so walks here tend to run longer than anywhere else in my service area. The 60-minute option is the popular one with the sporting breeds, shepherds and doodles around Descanso, Alta Canyada and the Flintridge side. Cherry Canyon is the standout: leashed fire roads with genuine elevation and enough shade to be usable most of the year. For dogs who don't want a climb, the streets around Descanso Gardens and Memorial Park are flat, shaded and almost traffic-free. Because the lots are large, I plan gate and side-yard access carefully at the meet & greet so there's no fumbling on day one. Every walk is one-on-one and ends with photos and a note.

What Dog Walking Clients Say

"Jessica is absolutely amazing! I have her walk my Arlo 4 times every week, and my baby loves her. Arlo is naturally a very shy, and reserved boy, but Jessica gave him time and now, I'm sure he looks forward to seeing her more than me sometimes. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone I know."

Navapoom S.Recurring Dog Walking

"Jessica was a total lifesaver for me and my senior dog, Mimi. I needed a last-minute dog walker, and she stepped in with such kindness and care. From the moment they met, I could tell Mimi was in good hands. Jessica was gentle, patient, and treated her like family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing someone so trustworthy was looking after her. We feel so lucky to have found her!"

Dog Walking FAQs in La Cañada

How much does a dog walk in La Cañada cost?

$30 for 30 minutes and $45 for 60 minutes, +$10 per extra dog and +$10 on major holidays. No travel surcharge for La Cañada Flintridge.

Where do you walk dogs in La Cañada Flintridge?

Cherry Canyon for dogs who want a climb, the Descanso Gardens and Flintridge Riding Club streets for shaded flat walking, Memorial Park for a quick loop, and the Flint Wash area when a dog needs level distance.

Do you come out to La Cañada?

Yes, it's inside my 10-mile radius of Pasadena with no travel surcharge.

Can my dog do the canyon trails?

Depends on the dog. I'll be honest after the meet & greet. Some dogs are better off on flat neighborhood loops.

What about the heat in summer?

Canyon and trail walks move to morning slots from roughly June to September. Midday walks stay on shaded residential streets and I always carry water.

My dog is older and can't do hills. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Plenty of La Cañada clients are seniors who get flat, shaded street loops with lots of sniffing time and no elevation.

Ready for your first walk in La Cañada?
