Arcadia has wide, quiet residential streets and some of the best flat walking in the San Gabriel Valley, which makes it a genuinely easy city to be an older dog in. I cover the whole city, from Highland Oaks and the Wilderness Park end at the north, down through Santa Anita Oaks and Baldwin Stocker, to the Live Oak side on the Temple City and El Monte borders. Flat, shaded residential blocks handle most 30-minute walks; the Santa Anita Wash path is where I go when a dog needs to actually cover ground on a 60-minute booking. Arcadia gets hot and exposed in late summer, so I check pavement temperature before every midday walk and keep longer routes to morning slots. Walks are one-on-one, and you get photos and a short note every time.
Free 30-minute meet & greet in Arcadia before your first walk, with no obligation.
Long, straight, and flat, great for building distance on a 60-minute walk.
Shaded and quiet at the north end of the city.
Wide sidewalks and mature trees; steady shade most of the day.
A simple flat loop that works well for seniors and puppies.
Big open lawns off Santa Anita Ave. Easy footing and room to wander.
Central and low-traffic. My default quick loop for Baldwin Stocker clients.
Wide, flat sidewalks with mountain views. Quiet on non-race days.

"Jessica is absolutely amazing! I have her walk my Arlo 4 times every week, and my baby loves her. Arlo is naturally a very shy, and reserved boy, but Jessica gave him time and now, I'm sure he looks forward to seeing her more than me sometimes. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone I know."
"Jessica was a total lifesaver for me and my senior dog, Mimi. I needed a last-minute dog walker, and she stepped in with such kindness and care. From the moment they met, I could tell Mimi was in good hands. Jessica was gentle, patient, and treated her like family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing someone so trustworthy was looking after her. We feel so lucky to have found her!"
$30 for a 30-minute walk and $45 for 60 minutes. Add $10 per extra dog from the same home and $10 on major holidays. There's no travel surcharge for Arcadia.
Most walks are shaded residential loops around the Arboretum, Baldwin Stocker or Santa Anita Oaks. Add Arcadia County Park, Eisenhower Park or Camino Real Park for grass, Wilderness Park for shade at the north end, and the Santa Anita Wash path when a dog needs real distance.
Yes, from the Wilderness Park end down to the Live Oak side. If you're right on the Temple City or Monrovia line, that's still in range.
I check the pavement with the back of my hand before we set off, keep midday walks on the shadiest streets, carry water, and move 60-minute walks to morning slots through the summer.
Yes, if they're from the same home and walk well together. It's +$10 for the second pet.
I still come. We do a shorter route, dry paws off before I leave, and I'll let you know how your dog handled it.
The meet & greet is free and there's no obligation. Walks start at $30.
