Dog Walker in Eagle Rock, CA

Eagle Rock sits between Pasadena and Glendale on the western side of my radius, and it's a genuinely mixed neighborhood to walk in. Colorado Blvd gives confident, people-loving dogs plenty of stimulation; the hill streets above it, up Hill Drive and around Occidental, are quiet, shaded and steep enough to tire out a young dog properly. For anyone who wants grass, the Eagle Rock Recreation Center and Yosemite Recreation Center both work well for a 30-minute break. A lot of clients here are in duplexes and small apartment buildings, so we sort out gate and door access carefully at the meet & greet. Walks are one-on-one, and after each one you get photos and a short note on how it went.

Wide sidewalks and storefronts. Good stimulation for confident, social dogs.

Shaded, low-traffic blocks with easy footing.

What Dog Walking Clients Say

"Jessica is absolutely amazing! I have her walk my Arlo 4 times every week, and my baby loves her. Arlo is naturally a very shy, and reserved boy, but Jessica gave him time and now, I'm sure he looks forward to seeing her more than me sometimes. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone I know."

Navapoom S.Recurring Dog Walking

"Jessica was a total lifesaver for me and my senior dog, Mimi. I needed a last-minute dog walker, and she stepped in with such kindness and care. From the moment they met, I could tell Mimi was in good hands. Jessica was gentle, patient, and treated her like family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing someone so trustworthy was looking after her. We feel so lucky to have found her!"

Dog Walking FAQs in Eagle Rock

How much does a dog walk in Eagle Rock cost?

$30 for 30 minutes and $45 for 60 minutes, +$10 per extra dog and +$10 on major holidays. No travel surcharge for Eagle Rock.

Where do you walk dogs in Eagle Rock?

Flat clients get the Eagle Rock or Yosemite Recreation Centers and the Occidental perimeter; social dogs get Colorado Blvd; and dogs who need a workout get the Hill Drive climbs or the leashed Eagle Rock Canyon Trail.

Is Eagle Rock in your service area?

Yes, it's about eight miles from Pasadena and inside my radius. I cover Hill Drive, the hills above Colorado, the Occidental area and down toward the Glassell Park line.

Can you walk a dog in an apartment or duplex here?

Yes, that's common in Eagle Rock. I just need gate codes, key or lockbox access and any building quirks sorted at the free meet & greet.

What about hot afternoons?

The hill streets hold shade better than Colorado Blvd, so that's where midday walks go in summer. I check the pavement first and always carry water.

Do you walk reactive dogs here?

Yes, solo and on the quiet residential streets rather than Colorado Blvd. Tell me the triggers at the meet & greet and I'll plan the route around them.

Ready for your first walk in Eagle Rock?

The meet & greet is free and there's no obligation. Walks start at $30.
