Jessica's Pawwsitive Care charges $30 for a 30-minute dog walk and $45 for a 60-minute walk in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. Drop-in check-ins are $30 for 30 minutes and $45 for an hour. Dog boarding in Jessica's own home is $80 a night, or $70 a night on stays of five nights or more. Doggy daycare is $80 for 5 hours or more, $50 for under 5 hours, or $350 for a week of five full days. Overnight sitting in your home is $100 a night from approximately 8 PM to 8 AM. Care after 8 AM is $50 for under 5 extra hours, $80 for 5 to 8 extra hours, or another $100 overnight charge beyond 8 extra hours. 24-hour in-home care is $200 a day, subject to availability. Extra pets are +$10, major holidays are +$10, optional pick-up or drop-off is $15 per trip, and every new client gets a free 30-minute meet and greet.

Your dog needs to get out, burn energy and sniff the neighborhood. Go 30 minutes for a potty break or senior pace, 60 minutes for a dog who never seems to run out of battery.

Your pet is better off at home: cats, small pets, puppies on a feeding schedule, or a dog who just needs company, food and a clean space while you are out.

Boarding is $80 a night in my Pasadena home, one household of dogs at a time, dropping to $70 a night past five nights. Best value for travel weeks.
Stay at your place
Overnight sitting is $100 a night from approximately 8 PM to 8 AM and keeps your pets in their own beds and routine. Best for anxious dogs, seniors, cats and multi-pet homes. Full 24-hour care is $200 per day, subject to availability.
