Do you walk reactive or anxious dogs?

Yes. Reactive dogs are walked solo on quiet, low-traffic routes at times of day when fewer dogs are out, and we plan around your dog's specific triggers at the meet & greet. I use whatever handling setup already works for you rather than introducing new gear mid-walk.

Will you let my dog off leash?

No. Every dog stays leashed for the entire walk, including in parks and on trails, with no exceptions. It's the single biggest safety rule I have, and it applies even to dogs with a flawless recall.

What happens in hot weather?

If the pavement is too hot for the back of my hand for seven seconds, it's too hot for paws. On hot days walks shift to early morning or evening, stay on shaded routes and grass, get shortened where needed, and always include a water break. I'll tell you when I've made that call.

Do you walk in the rain?

Yes, I still show up, with towel-off time built in before I leave. If there's lightning or genuinely unsafe conditions we shorten to a potty break and I spend the balance of the time on indoor play and attention instead.

How do you handle keys and home access?

Whatever you're most comfortable with: a lockbox code, a garage code, a smart lock, or a spare key. Keys are tagged with a first name only, never an address, and they're kept separate from any note of where you live. Access details are returned or deleted when service ends.

What if my dog won't walk that day?

It happens, especially with seniors, new rescues and stormy weather. I never force it. We spend the booked time on a short potty trip plus indoor attention and play, and you get a note explaining exactly what happened. The rate is unchanged since the time was reserved for you.

Whether your pup needs a quick potty break or a nice long stroll to burn off energy, I'm here to make their tail wag! Walks are full of sniffing adventures, fresh air, and happy steps, all at their pace and with lots of love. You'll come home to a calmer, content pup who got their daily dose of movement and fun!

What a walk with me actually looks like

I arrive at the agreed window and let myself in with whatever access you're comfortable with, usually a lockbox code or a spare key I keep tagged by first name only, never by address. Before we head out I check the harness or collar fit, clip on my own backup leash for anything that pulls, and top up the water bowl so it's fresh for the return.

The walk itself is at your dog's pace, not mine. Sniffing is exercise for a dog's brain, so I don't drag anyone past a good hedge. I pick the route based on the weather, the time of day, and what your dog handles well, quiet residential blocks for nervous dogs, park loops and trails for dogs who want distance.

Back home, paws get wiped if it's muddy, water goes down, and I leave things exactly as I found them. Within a few minutes you get a photo from the walk and a short note: where we went, how they did, potty results, and anything I noticed that you'd want to know about.

30 minutes or 60 minutes: which one suits your dog

A 30-minute walk ($30) covers roughly a mile at a comfortable pace. It's the right call for senior dogs, puppies still building stamina, small breeds, and the classic midday potty-and-stretch break while you're at work.

A 60-minute walk ($45) covers closer to two to two and a half miles with time for a proper sniff-and-explore stretch. This is what high-energy dogs need, herding breeds, young labs, huskies, anyone who reorganises your living room when they're under-exercised.

Every walk is one-on-one. I don't run pack walks. The only time two dogs go out together is when they're from the same household and you've asked for it, which adds $10 for the second dog.

Recurring schedules and one-off walks

Most of my clients are on a recurring weekday schedule, the same days and roughly the same time each week. Those slots are the ones I can guarantee, and they're worth locking in if your dog does better with a predictable routine.

One-off and occasional walks are welcome too, I just ask for as much notice as you can give. Same-day requests are worth sending: if I have a gap near you I'll take it, and if I don't I'll tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.

I walk seven days a week, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Major holidays are available with a $10 surcharge.

Where I walk dogs

I'm based in Pasadena and cover about a 10-mile radius across the San Gabriel Valley, with no travel surcharge anywhere inside it. That includes Altadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Temple City, Monrovia, Duarte, Glendale, Eagle Rock and La Cañada Flintridge.
